Accounting Technician

Part-time/4 hours per day/12 months Under general supervision, the Accounting Technician performs difficult and complex account, financial, and statistical record-keeping work including maintenance and general processing of functions such as accounts payable.

Requirements / Qualifications

* Proof of High School Diploma or equivalency is required. * Successful completion of accounting and/or business courses from an accredited college is highly desirable. * A minimum of three years of experience in the area of accounting. * Experience in school finance is highly desirable. Appointment to this position predicated upon submitting a negative TB result and passing a district paid post-offer physical. In addition, the selected candidate must complete the state fingerprinting requirements and the district must receive clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
