Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing standardized assessments to determine treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, while effectively communicating these plans to patients and their families to promote collaborative goal-setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols with proficiency, adapting as necessary to address each patient's evolving condition.
• Document patient progress accurately and expediently, ensuring clear communication regarding changes in patient status and any required modifications to the care plan.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with physicians and allied healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Lead discharge planning discussions, ensuring patients and families understand post-treatment care and rehabilitation goals.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to enhance clinic visibility and engage the local population.
• Contribute to the clinic's continuous improvement efforts by participating in departmental meetings and activities, and adhering to all relevant regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and mentorship of students or new staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
