Job Description
We're seeking a candidate with strong SolidWorks experience for mechanical product design. This is a direct hire opportunity for an electrical equipment manufacturer including light poles, light fixtures, outdoor lighting and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed product drawings, models, and specification sheets using SolidWorks.
- Retrieve and organize technical data from vendors for integration into product designs and documentation.
- Prepare and provide basic photometric data for the marketing and sales departments.
- Understand and apply light pole design fundamentals, including structural analysis.
- Perform pole loading and capacity calculations for specific wind zones and project requirements.
