We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to provide technical leadership and architectural direction across Epro's strategic engineering initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions while driving platform modernisation, engineering excellence, and alignment with business objectives. The architect will serve as a key technical partner to Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Principal Engineers, and delivery teams, ensuring sustainable architecture decisions and successful execution of high-impact programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture strategy for enterprise-scale healthcare platforms and services.
• Lead solution design for cloud-native applications, APIs, distributed systems, and integration platforms.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable reference patterns, and engineering best practices across teams.
• Partner with engineering leadership to support platform modernisation, cloud adoption, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and operational excellence requirements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance business priorities with long-term architectural sustainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Principal Engineers, Senior Engineers, and development teams.
• Drive architecture reviews, design governance, and technology evaluation processes.
• Support engineering teams in performance optimisation, observability, resiliency, and cost-efficient cloud operations.
• Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure HIPAA, PHI, and PII requirements are incorporated into solution design.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience with significant experience in enterprise architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms, microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and modern integration patterns.
• Experience leading architecture for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record of driving cloud migration, platform modernisation, and engineering transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
