Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote, providing you with the flexibility to create a work-life balance while maintaining a strong commitment to your clients. Your primary workspace will be from home, using secure telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions and communicate with clients. Our outpatient approach allows you to work with clientele from a wide range of backgrounds and demographics, ensuring your expertise is utilized to its fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health and familial dynamics to identify key areas for intervention.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's specific needs.

• Facilitating individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
\n
• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health issues and coping strategies.
\n
• Documenting session notes and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and community resources to enhance client care and support systems.

• Preparing and delivering objective expert testimony in legal contexts as required, showcasing professional insights relevant to interfamilial issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse client population struggling with various mental health and relational challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and family dysfunction. You will engage with clients ranging from children to adults, providing you with the ability to apply your specialized skills across different stages of life while focusing on promoting healthy relationships and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current LMFT license in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
\n
• Completion of one year of supervised clinical hours, aligning with state regulations, demonstrating your clinical expertise and ethical practice.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address individual, couples, and family dynamics.
\n
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, coupled with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

While one year of direct clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or working with diverse populations will be prioritized. Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and platforms will also be beneficial in enhancing the client experience.

Compensation and Benefits\n
