Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist, you will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a supportive setting that allows for continuous learning and professional exchange. Our facility emphasizes onsite patient interaction, ensuring a meaningful therapeutic relationship can be established with each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' orthopedic needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, with a focus on maintaining individual attention by handling approximately one patient per hour.
• Use evidence-based practices to provide high-quality interventions that restore motion and function.
• Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs to enhance mobility, strength, and functional performance.
• Educate patients on the importance of movement, injury prevention strategies, and alternatives to medications or surgeries.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, maintaining clear communications with both patients and multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to collaborate on patient care and enhancement of treatment protocols.
• Provide motivation and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and empowering therapeutic experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse population of patients facing various orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and injury rehabilitation. Our patient demographic ranges from active individuals aiming to reclaim their mobility to older adults requiring rehabilitation to enhance their quality of life. Your role will involve crafting personalized care strategies that engage and empower each patient toward achieving their mobility goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free of board disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques that directly enhance treatment efficacy.
• Exceptional skills in developing tailored exercise protocols specific to therapeutic needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a robust understanding of musculoskeletal disorders and rehabilitation techniques.
• A proven track record of successful patient outcomes, reflecting your ability to implement effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
