Empower-Self Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team. As a vital member of our rehabilitation facility in Santa Ana, California, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing rehabilitation. Your primary focus will be to guide patients on their path to recovery by enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.

Work Environment

This full-time position offers an onsite work setting at our modern rehabilitation facility in Santa Ana. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a balance between commitment to our patients and your personal life. You will work alongside a collaborative team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), ensuring a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and high-quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' functional abilities and set individualized goals based on their unique requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one individual per hour, while maintaining quality care and focused attention.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions to restore movement and minimize pain.
• Create customized fitness and wellness plans to match the diverse needs of each patient.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Document all patient care activities comprehensively and accurately, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Motivate and educate patients on ways to incorporate rehabilitation principles into their daily lives, promoting holistic recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient clientele consists largely of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with each patient to empower them to regain their strength, functionality, and independence. Your ability to inspire confidence and foster motivation will play a significant role in their recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and hold a valid California license as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrate a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of practice.
• Exhibit strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and show exceptional ability to devise and implement exercise protocols tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is necessary for effective patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome all qualified candidates, prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be highly advantageous. A background in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques will further enhance your ability to deliver excellent care that meets our patients' goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
