Work Environment

This is an onsite position primarily based in our outpatient clinic in Union, NJ. You will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic specialists and sports medicine experts, creating a supportive and dynamic work environment. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced professional lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's specific goals, employing techniques such as manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring quality time and focused attention on each individual's needs and progress.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and current research in your care strategies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor, record, and evaluate patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to refine patient care strategies, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive support for each patient.
• Design and conduct patient-specific wellness and fitness programs that emphasize long-term health and mobility.
• Motivate patients by providing unwavering support and encouragement throughout their recovery journey.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population, including individuals recovering from sports-related injuries, surgical procedures, and other physical impairments. Our clinic is particularly focused on orthopedic outpatient care, allowing you to leverage your specialization in helping patients regain functional strength and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher is required (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient or orthopedic care.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy modalities and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercises.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient patient documentation.
• Current knowledge of the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices supported by research and clinical evidence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a sports medicine context or with clients involved in high-performance athletics is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on relevant experience.
