Full-time Guarantor Billing Specialist needed at Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association. This candidate must be motivated and dependable. Our perfect candidate is dependable and possesses strong communication skills. Also, MUST be able to work on a strong team and interact with clients in a friendly demeanor.
As a Billing Specialist, your sole focus and responsibility will be your assigned patient A/R and all communication regarding the collection of balances associated with those accounts. This function will include timely follow up on guarantor balances, processing of patient account payments via phone and/or bill head, determining proper collection processes, and assisting patients in understanding their balances.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Consistent and diligent pursuit of delegated patient A/R and collection of patient balances
- Examination and follow-up on unpaid guarantor balances
- Completion of collection letters and all various collection methods
- Communication with patient regarding their balances or questions regarding their bill
- Collection of payments via phone or bill heads
Qualifications:
- Professional conduct and appearance
- Ability to work with a team
- Interpersonal/communication skills
- Phone and computer skills
- Insurance and billing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- High school diploma or GED required

The potential base pay range for this position is $18 per hour.
