Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $15.92 / Hour Job Schedule Daytime: Mon 06:30 AM - 02:45 PM; Tue 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Fri 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Sun 06:30 AM - 02:45 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document guest, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with property guidelines. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Support day‑to‑day property operations by reporting maintenance observations, access issues, and unusual activity, while helping to maintain an orderly and professional environment. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Guard card required. Minimum of 6 months of security experience. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
