Accounts Payable Clerk

Job DescriptionJob Description We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to help manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation across multiple systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that includes multiple platforms like QuickBooks, Tailwind, Microsoft GP, and Stampli.Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PMCompensation: $18.00-$22.00 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits:Health and Dental InsuranceHSA and FSA optionsPaid company holidaysPTO48 hours of sick pay annually401(k) Free mental health services Key Responsibilities:Enter, code, and route invoices using Stampli for approval workflowsEnsure invoices are properly matched to purchase orders and receipts from our 3PL and Tailwind systemsMaintain vendor records and reconcile statements to ensure accounts are up to dateAssist in weekly payment runs (ACH, check, credit card), ensuring timely and accurate disbursementsMonitor the AP inbox and respond to vendor and internal inquiriesReconcile AP balances in QuickBooks and Microsoft GPProcess employee reimbursements in accordance with company policiesAssist with month-end close tasks, including AP accruals and reportingProvide documentation and support for audits and internal reviewsHelp maintain a clean, organized digital filing system for invoices and approvals Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyWilling to learnStrong communication skills and ability to work with internal departments and vendors Preferred Qualifications:Experience with logistics, 3PL billing, or freight-related invoicingFamiliarity with AP automation and digital workflows1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accountingProficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working in multiple systemsExperience with at least one of the following: QuickBooks, Microsoft GP, Tailwind, Stampli Bailey’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
