Fund Accountant

A leading credit-focused alternative investment manager is seeking a Fund Accounting & Operations Associate to join its team. The firm invests across a diverse range of credit-oriented opportunities and maintains a sophisticated platform supporting complex investment vehicles and financing structures. This role offers broad exposure to fund accounting, financial reporting, investor activity, and operational processes within a dynamic investment management environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly internal performance and NAV estimates for fund entities and special purpose vehicles. Work closely with administrators on the month-end close process, including reviewing financials, investor allocations, capital statements, and supporting schedules. Review monthly profit/loss and custody reconciliations between internal records and administrators, resolving discrepancies as needed. Assist in reviewing daily profit/loss, capital activity, and NAV reporting for registered investment products. Reconcile administrator results to internally prepared projections for portfolio performance, operating expenses, management fees, and incentive fees. Assist with the coordination of year-end financial statement audits, working with fund administrators and external auditors. Partner with Investor Relations regarding subscriptions, redemptions, performance estimates, investor statements, and ad hoc investor requests. Provide performance analytics and reporting to senior management and business stakeholders. Assist in the preparation and review of regulatory filings and quarterly reporting requirements. Participate in special projects, including technology enhancements, process improvements, controls reviews, and new fund launches. Review fund governing documents and assess the impact on accounting policies, operational procedures, and financial reporting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
