Job Overview Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 national law firm seeking a 5 to 7 year Corporate M and A Associate to join its Austin Texas office. This is a full time, in office transactional role focused on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and related strategic matters for both public and private company clients. The platform offers a deep corporate bench, partner led deal teams, and a steady flow of complex work across a range of industries, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and high quality execution. The Opportunity The associate will support and lead key workstreams across M and A transactions, joint ventures, and other complex business transactions, including diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive agreements, managing deal process and timelines, and advising clients through signing and closing.
