Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are specifically eager to discuss continued placements for Grace Lui at Wyatt elementary and Estefany Gramajo at McMillen High School if interested. This contract runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in Texas and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Passion for fostering student development and advocating for individualized learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and interventions to students, as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations and progress monitoring
• Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and document treatment plans, goals, and progress reports according to district and federal guidelines
• Support school community initiatives to enhance communication skills across grade levels
