Key Responsibilities\n

• Efficiently coordinate mental health treatment plans under the guidance of the Medical Director or Medical Team Administrator, ensuring comprehensive care delivery both within the clinic and outward.

• Provide in-service training sessions on mental health topics to medical, psychiatric, and security staff as required to foster a deeper understanding of mental health issues.

• Respond effectively to mental health emergencies within the clinic, employing appropriate de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.

• Attend commitment hearings as necessary, representing patient needs and advocating for their rights.

• Craft individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and maintain meticulous records for quality assurance and compliance.

• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patients' medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Verify medical histories of new patients, focusing on previous mental health treatment and psychotropic medication usage.

• Generate regular reports and special documentation as required by facility standards.
