Assistant Professor - Clinical Neuropsychologist - ACTrack Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Sep 16, 2026 Deadline: Sep 16, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine atthe University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an AssistantProfessor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.Expertise is required in the specific area of comprehensiveneuropsychological assessment and assessment of neurologicpopulations, including those with epilepsy, stroke, movementdisorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia and neuro-oncology.Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The candidateshould be licensed (or license eligible) in Pennsylvania, havecompleted a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship inneuropsychology according to the Houston Conference Guidelines andbe eligible for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology.Applicants will have a minimum of two years of experience(including post-doctoral training) conducting assessments ofindividuals with a variety of neurological problems, excellentwritten and oral communication skills, integrative report writingskills, and interpersonal and time management skills, andexperience working in an interdisciplinary setting. Teaching responsibilities may include providing clinicalsupervision for trainees at the pre-doctoral (practicum andinternship) and post-doctoral level, supervising staffpsychometricians, participating in neuropsychology seminar series,and participating in intern and postdoctoral trainee applicationreview and interviews. Clinical responsibilities may include providing neuropsychologicalevaluations in a high-volume assessment service, providingcomprehensive, patient-centered care tailored to the neurologicpopulations served, providing consultation to multidisciplinaryteams, including pre-surgical evaluations, and providing expertisein evaluation of cognition on collaborative clinicalresearch. Clinical practice will be at multiple out-patient Penn Medicineclinic locations, with the potential for occasional in-patientconsultation.
