Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of clients, ensuring timely documentation that complies with all regulatory standards. Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to effectively evaluate clients, facilitating informed decision-making within the clinical team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, fostering a cohesive approach to mental health care. Actively participate in accreditation processes, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care. Serve as a liaison between clients and various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care. Establish and maintain strong relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance program visibility and secure potential partnerships. Pursue ongoing professional development through conferences and training, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Counselor at Mind Care Counseling Center, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking support for mental health challenges, substance use issues, and those requiring assistance with developmental disabilities. Each client presents unique needs, allowing you to utilize your expertise to facilitate individualized care options that promote health and recovery. Qualifications A minimum of a Master’s degree in a mental health-related field is required. An Independent LMHC license is mandatory to practice. Preferred Experience Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient management is preferred but not required. Prior involvement in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or team-based care settings provides a significant advantage.
