Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MultiCare Behavioral Health, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and psychosocial assessments, including mental status examinations to inform treatment decisions.

• Crafting individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that take into consideration their unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

• Providing a range of therapy services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to patient needs.

• Implementing supportive therapy techniques, such as problem-solving, role-playing scenarios, and assertiveness training to enhance patient social skills and community involvement.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters in the electronic health record, adhering to organizational policies and confidentiality guidelines.

• Collaborating closely with referral sources and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure seamless continuity of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted license in the State of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three years of direct patient care experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical skills and ethical practice.
