Work Environment\n

The Calm Connections Counseling Center operates in a hybrid model, allowing for both remote work and face-to-face consultations in our outpatient office. This arrangement promotes a flexible work-life balance and accommodates your individual scheduling needs—our office hours are Monday through Saturday. Here, you will have the latitude to create and manage your own working hours, providing you with the freedom to align your professional responsibilities with personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals and families, developing an insightful understanding of their challenges and support needs.
\n
• Engage in initial client consultations, utilizing an empathetic approach to triage care and direct them to appropriate services within our practice.
\n
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels with our multidisciplinary team, including detailed documentation and participation in regular care coordination meetings.
\n
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities aligned with best practices.

• Provide continuous case management for your assigned patients, fostering collaboration with community resources and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

• Ensure timely and ethical completion of all documentation related to patient interactions and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base encompasses diverse individuals, from children and adolescents to adults and families, each facing distinct mental health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to address a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational problems. Your role will directly contribute to their recovery and empowerment, helping to guide them towards healthier pathways.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the State of Tennessee.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• A commitment to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding as needed based on patient demand.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a counseling setting.

• Previous experience with CBT and other evidence-based therapies is advantageous.
