Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Design and manage individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and promote the development of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate a space for patients to process trauma, gain coping skills, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide timely and compassionate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and family members about trauma responses, symptom management, and local mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and remain flexible to meet patient needs.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
