Four Corners Legacy Law

About Us Four Corners Legacy Law is a growing boutique estate planning and estate administration law firm serving families throughout New York's Capital Region and Northern Hudson Valley. Our work is about people. We help families understand their options, make informed decisions, and put plans in place to protect the people and things that matter most to them. We believe clients should leave our firm feeling educated, empowered, cared for, and confident about their future. That same people-first philosophy shapes how we work together. We are a collaborative, technology-driven team that values high standards without ego or unnecessary drama. We want people who are kind, dependable, easy to work with, willing to help one another, and serious about doing excellent work. Our core values, Competitive Greatness, Always Be Growing, Unimpeachable Character, and Sincere Candor, guide how we serve our clients, make decisions, and work together as a team. About the Role As our Business Development Specialist, you will own the execution of the firm's community-based business development efforts. You will build and strengthen referral relationships, identify speaking and partnership opportunities, grow attendance at educational programs, and represent Four Corners Legacy Law throughout the communities we serve. This role requires independent ownership, proactive relationship development, and consistent follow-through. You will be expected to identify opportunities, initiate conversations, develop relationships over time, execute community initiatives, and track whether those efforts are producing measurable results. Success requires strong relationship-building skills, initiative, organization, professional confidence, and the ability to turn community activity into meaningful opportunities for the firm. This is not simply an event-planning position. Results & Follow-Through: Track activity and outcomes, maintain consistent follow-up, and use results to identify what should be continued, improved, or changed. What Success Looks Like Performance in this role is measured by both results and quality of execution. Key performance expectations include Consistently achieve established registration and attendance goals for assigned educational programs. Maintain accurate records of relationships, outreach activities, events, attendance, and resulting opportunities. Track which relationships, events, partnerships, and outreach activities are producing meaningful results. Are professional, approachable, dependable, and easy to work with. Are comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with people you do not already know. Follow through consistently and understand that strong relationships require continued attention. Are equally comfortable building relationships in the community and managing the details required to execute an exceptional event. Stay organized while managing multiple relationships, events, and priorities. Use data and feedback to determine what is working and what needs to change. Communicate directly, professionally, and constructively. Receive feedback with professionalism and demonstrate improvement through action. Hold yourself to a high standard even when working independently outside the office. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and low-drama work environment. Care about helping families become educated and empowered to make important decisions about their futures. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 + Performance-Based Bonus Opportunity Benefits include: Health insurance contribution. SIMPLE IRA with 3% employer match. Paid holidays and paid time off. Performance-based bonus opportunities. Mileage reimbursement for eligible business travel. Firm-sponsored professional development opportunities tailored to your role and career growth. Regular one‑on‑one coaching with leadership focused on performance, professional development, and continued growth. Employee Recognition Program. Employee Anniversary Recognition Program. Schedule & Location This is a full‑time, community‑facing position working across our Chatham and Albany offices, throughout the communities we serve, and with partial remote flexibility based on business needs. Regular regional travel is required throughout the Capital Region, Northern Hudson Valley, and surrounding communities. Because community engagement does not always occur during traditional business hours, some evening workshops, networking functions, and occasional weekend events are required. Your work schedule will flex based on event and business needs rather than event hours routinely being added on top of a traditional workweek. Reliable transportation is required. Mileage for eligible business travel is reimbursed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Four Corners Legacy Law
