This role goes beyond traditional apprenticeship and internships — it's about being an integral part of a team that values your expertise and provides you with a platform to influence and lead. – You'll be responsible for assisting projects from initial conceptual design through to construction completion, ensuring you understand the process and steps realized in every stage. We are a Design Build Firm specializing in luxury home design and residential general construction in the NYC Metropolitan Region. We are one of the area’s top rated general contractors and are rapidly growing online. Responsibilities Reports directly to Elizabeth Vergara, Owner/CEO & Founder and designated Construction Project Managers and Leads. Works with Social Media Team, Architectural Team, and Construction Team. A can‑do attitude to learn about construction projects from conception to completion. Assist with completion of final construction/permit plan sets. Visit the job site regularly to evaluate the sold design for issues and to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations. Ensure safety requirements are maintained on all job sites in accordance with OSHA. Coordinate and manage the installation of construction materials, equipment, and fixtures. Collaborate with the design team to ensure schematics are accurately translated into construction plans. Conduct regular project meetings with the project team to discuss progress and address any issues. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Work with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers to determine scope of work requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, designers, and contractors. Read and review blueprints to gain understanding of project material and installation requirements and perform field measurements when necessary. Qualifications At least 1‑3 years of experience in construction/laborer with the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings. Experience working as laborers/helpers for mechanical contractors (sheet metal / plumbing), electrical, drywall finishers, flooring, and painting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
