Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Edwardsburg, MI (100% onsite) Our client is a well-established organization known for its commitment to financial accuracy and operational efficiency. This role offers hands-on responsibility for managing vendor payments and supporting the accounting team. Employees enjoy a detail-oriented and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and cross-training. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments. Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors. Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and reporting. Assist with month-end closing and general ledger support related to accounts payable. Communicate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices. Support the accounting team with special projects and process improvements. Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Salary: $44,000 $46,000 depending on experience Note: This role is 100% onsite
