Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients via telehealth, utilizing structured clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, while incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Hold regular therapy sessions to systematically monitor client progress, providing ongoing support and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or additional support is necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Peace of Mind Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults of various backgrounds who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will leverage your cultural competence to provide therapy that resonates with clients’ unique life experiences, ensuring they feel understood and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits\n
