Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide expert counseling and crisis intervention for clients coping with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring timely assessments and tailored treatment plans.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to communicate patient progress, needs, and concerns, creating a unified approach to treatment.

• Maintain accurate and timely records, including detailed clinical and progress notes, in compliance with departmental policies and regulations.

• Participate in the development of comprehensive treatment plans and discharge plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments and evidence-based social work interventions.

• Build and nurture relationships with community leaders and resource groups, representing Bedford Healthcare Center at meetings and contributing to committees focused on addressing patient needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Candidates must possess one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a related field, actively engaging with clients in mental health settings.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be considered beneficial to streamline client interactions and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
