PST / CST | Remote | Support | Application | SQL | Python | Insurance | IT | $130k | No sponsorship Role: Application Support Engineer Location: Remote in PST / CST Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 ** Must have a Green Card or US Citizenship, no sponsorship can be provided for this role ** We're partnering with a growing technology-driven organization looking for a Support Engineer to help maintain and improve the systems that power a highly customer-focused platform. This role sits at the intersection of technical support, software engineering, and customer success , offering the opportunity to work closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and business stakeholders to investigate issues, improve workflows, and ensure a seamless user experience. You'll gain exposure to modern SaaS technologies, third-party integrations, APIs, internal tooling, and core business systems while making a direct impact on both customers and internal teams. What You'll Be Doing Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications, databases, integrations, and system logs Partner with engineering teams to identify root causes and drive resolutions Support business-critical workflows and ensure systems operate efficiently Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for process and product improvements Document common issues, business processes, and technical solutions Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Engineering teams Contribute to improving internal tools and support procedures What We're Looking For A customer-first mindset with a passion for solving problems Curiosity about technology and how complex systems work Understanding of web applications, APIs, integrations, and software platforms Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership Preferred Background Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience 1+ years of experience in Technical Support, Customer Success Engineering, Software Engineering, QA, or similar technical roles Experience debugging production issues and supporting business-critical applications Exposure to modern development technologies and databases Familiarity with technologies such as: Python React TypeScript SQL Experience working in SaaS, InsurTech, FinTech, or other technology-driven environments is advantageous Why Join?
