Overview KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Focused on attracting premier professional candidates utilizing successful recruiting channels, Works with the hiring managers, Select, review and forward prospective candidates for review, Conduct HR fit phone interviews with candidates, and Coordinate assessment and functional interviews working directly with the business units. Responsibilities Monitor Job Requisitions - Contact the hiring manager for additional information for an approved requisition. - Edit and post the job requisition as a job posting on and any other applicable major job boards. - Contacts local state employment offices with notification of job posting as necessary, -Utilize Social Networking sites to identify potential candidates, driving them to our ATS. -Manages the flow and status of candidates through the ATS. -Hide job posting from view and/or close the requisition when appropriate. -Notify and update the Corporate Professional Staffing Supervisor on any job requisition exceptions (ex: hard-to-fill jobs, aging requisitions, etc …). Manage Requisition Process - Monitors the sourcing process to ensure hiring needs are met timely. - Conducts candidate sourcing to ensure requisition needs are promptly filled with quality candidates - Evaluates recruiting and interviewing processes and makes recommendations for process improvements. -Monitors employment processing to confirm UPS’s compliance with local government and other requirements. -Develops recruiting relationships as needed. Other responsibilities: Post openings to appropriate Internet sources; Review resumes and evaluate if they meet the position requirements; Conducting interviews; Recommending candidates. Qualifications Preferred skills/education: Professional Recruiting experience; Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices; Ability to work independently; Organizes work; Meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Adaptability to perform multiple projects simultaneously; Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
