Work Environment

The center operates Monday through Friday, with working hours set from 2 PM to 8 PM, fostering a work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by managing the therapeutic care process for an assigned patient group in coordination with physicians and the patient care team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop and implement catered care plans focused on engaging patients in their recovery processes and achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as per your professional scope of practice, ensuring adherence to established laws and ethical standards.
• Assess and continuously evaluate patients' therapeutic and functional status, contributing insights that inform the total plan of care.
• Implement skilled therapeutic care at patients' homes when necessary, utilizing proven techniques to drive meaningful changes in their physical conditions.
• Guide patients and their families in the utilization of exercises, therapeutic appliances, and other modalities they can practice outside scheduled therapy sessions.
• Manage your caseload efficiently, coordinating daily staffing requirements and ensuring seamless hand-offs among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Flow Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of patients dealing with various orthopedic injuries and recovery needs. Our patient base includes adults and children undergoing rehabilitation from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and developmental issues. Your work will have a direct impact on improving patients' quality of life, helping them regain their strength and mobility while instilling hope and confidence during their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A current license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Although we require a minimum of one year of clinical experience, we encourage recent graduates with a strong commitment to patient care to apply. Experience in an orthopedic setting will be a significant advantage, as will familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation methodologies.
