Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own location. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will connect with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring they receive timely and effective mental health support. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' moods, behavior, and overall mental health, focusing particularly on mood disorders.

• Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard throughout the process.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, applicable therapies, and self-help strategies to foster independence and understanding.

• Regularly monitor the progress of clients and adjust treatment strategies based on their evolving needs and responses.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to facilitate a holistic treatment approach and ensure continuity of care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and clinical practices surrounding mood disorders and integrate these findings into your therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans while adhering to strict confidentiality and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance therapeutic skills within a collaborative team dynamic.

• Act as a mental health advocate for clients, fostering a supportive and stigma-free environment that encourages open discussions about mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from varied backgrounds, ensuring your treatments are culturally competent and tailored to address unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience, ideally with a focus on mood disorders.
\n
• Proficiency in evidenced-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, demonstrating experience with CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, with the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing therapy in an outpatient or telehealth setting.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex cases and achieving positive client outcomes in mood disorder treatments.

• Familiarity with electronic health records and teletherapy software.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
