Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma history and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that allow clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, emphasizing coping mechanisms and available resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
