Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform detailed assessments of clients, analyzing the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, and developing tailored treatment strategies based on this information.

• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that consider their unique needs, objectives, and preferences with measurable goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients in effectively managing their mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their family members on mood disorders, highlighting treatment options, and self-care methodologies to aid recovery and management.

• Monitor client progress diligently throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on real-time feedback and clinical evaluation.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, fostering discussions around medication management and treatment efficacy.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mood disorders, integrating new research insights into practice to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and progress in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including team meetings, case consultations, and external training opportunities, to grow your expertise in mood disorder treatments.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working towards reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and supporting their rights to effective mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, encompassing a broad range of symptoms from anxiety to depression and bipolar disorder. You will engage with a diverse clientele, allowing you to apply a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to different backgrounds and experiences, dramatically influencing their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated excellence in communication, with a strong ability to connect and establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
