Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough initial evaluations to understand patient needs and challenges and develop personalized treatment plans.

  Engage in active listening sessions with patients, as well as diagnose mental or emotional disorders based on DSM-5 criteria.

  Design and implement effective coping strategies and therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

  Monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

  Collaborate with social services, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to connect patients with essential resources and additional support.

  Provide educational support on stress management and trauma coping mechanisms to both patients and clinic staff.

  Commit to engaging in continuous professional development, including completing necessary educational courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma and are seeking to overcome significant mental and emotional challenges. Many of our patients come to us following traumatic incidents and require specialized care tailored to their specific circumstances. You will utilize your expertise to guide them through their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the mental health care they need to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

  Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

  Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

  A minimum of 3 years of experience working with trauma patients in a clinical setting.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with Salesforce experience being a significant advantage.

  Demonstrated excellent communication skills , both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
