Role Description The Golden Corral Kitchen Manager in Tinley Park, IL is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations. This includes supervising food preparation and cooking, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. The Kitchen Manager coordinates kitchen staff scheduling, trains team members on recipes and procedures, and monitors inventory, ordering, and waste control. This role collaborates with front-of-house leadership to support smooth service, consistent buffet presentation, and timely replenishment of menu items. The Kitchen Manager also addresses day-to-day operational issues, reinforces health and safety compliance, and contributes to a positive, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food & Beverage operations.
• Experience ensuring Food Quality standards and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Background in Culinary Management, including supervising kitchen staff and managing kitchen workflows.
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and cost control in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Effective leadership, coaching, and communication skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of local health regulations and safety practices;
  ServSafe or similar certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a buffet or casual dining restaurant environment is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  culinary or hospitalitytraining is a plus.
