Position Overview

Atmore Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Avenel, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patient needs to formulate personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functionality.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, utilizing clinical evidence and patient history to guide treatment strategy.
• Provide ongoing consultations to healthcare providers regarding the patient's progress and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, anticipated outcomes, and home exercise plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to improving quality assurance initiatives.
• Supervise and manage assigned aides and support staff, intending to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness and advocate for physical therapy awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will be critical in helping patients regain their independence and improving their quality of life, ensuring they receive compassionate and individualized care throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient computer skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting will be preferred. Experience in developing patient-specific treatment protocols and a background in working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

Atmore Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
