Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and facilitate recovery.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies based on clinical assessments and patient feedback to ensure maximum therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide training to patients, family members, and caregivers on the implementation of home exercise programs and the use of assistive devices for improving mobility.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and collaborating with other health care professionals to stay current on best practices in physical therapy.
• Work closely with referral sources and insurance companies to ensure continuity of care and compliance with treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals needing rehabilitation after surgery or chronic conditions. Your expertise will be critical in creating individualized treatment plans aimed at helping each patient achieve their personal health goals, thereby improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and general computer applications, ensuring accurate patient data tracking.
• A flexible approach and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, although new graduates will be considered, especially if they exhibit a strong willingness to learn.
• Experience in home health care is an advantage but is not mandatory.
