Position Overview

True Motion Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in South River, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Work Environment

You will work onsite within our vibrant rehabilitation center, where a dynamic team of healthcare providers collaborates to deliver non-hospital-based rehabilitation services. The work schedule is structured to promote work-life balance, with hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Our facility fosters a culture of support and communication, creating a positive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care plans to patients, aiming to address their specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
• Maintain an optimal patient load that allows for thorough treatment sessions, ensuring each patient receives dedicated attention.
• Display proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, leveraging prior experience to implement effective treatment strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and cost-effective treatment modalities to enhance patients' mobility and physical function.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options that minimize reliance on medications, focusing on holistic recovery methods.
• Design robust rehabilitation programs incorporating various therapeutic techniques and fitness strategies tailored to individual patient profiles.
• Motivate patients through consistent encouragement, fostering a supportive environment that enhances their commitment to recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address any interdisciplinary needs.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy by monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Document all services provided accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, particularly Web PT, to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations requiring rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and general mobility issues. Our patients range from athletes seeking to improve their performance to older adults looking to regain strength and independence following an injury. You will play a crucial part in helping individuals restore their movement and live healthier, more active lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with a clean professional record, free from sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and mastery of various manual therapy techniques.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for comprehensive, accurate documentation of therapy services.
• A strong understanding of the latest evidence-based physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills in manual therapy and exercise prescription will be advantageous.
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
