Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Phoenix Spine and Sports Medicine, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within their homes.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic methods such as exercise programs, stretching techniques, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Tracking patient progress through meticulous documentation of treatment sessions and evaluating responses to therapy.
• Adjusting therapeutic goals and developing new treatment plans as needed to meet evolving patient needs.
• Fitting patients with assistive devices and instructing them, their caregivers, and families in their proper use to facilitate independence in daily activities.
• Maintaining updated knowledge of best practices through continuing education, workshops, and engagement in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily benefit a diverse range of patients within the home care environment, including those recovering from acute injuries, surgeries, chronic illnesses, and neurological conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, family members, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience
