Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Paraprofessional working onsite in a dynamic school environment near Clarks Summit, PA. In this contract role, you’ll be supporting students as a Personal Care Aide, ensuring their educational and emotional well-being. With placements available across several elementary, intermediate, and high school sites, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your expertise while providing essential care within a collaborative setting. Assignment will be determined by the district based on current needs.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional or Personal Care Aide (PCA) in school settings preferred
• Commitment to working with students with diverse needs, including those receiving special education services
• Valid Pennsylvania credentialing, including Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting, Act 126 training, and Act 168 paperwork (guidance provided for obtaining these)
• Recent 2-step TB test (or Quantiferon TB blood test), current physical (within 60 days of start)
• Ability to provide professional references
• Willingness to be assigned to any district site as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom and school settings, providing personal care and academic assistance
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment for all learners
• Work closely with educators and related service providers to implement IEP goals
• Manage documentation and assist with daily routines
• Respond to behavioral, emotional, and instructional needs with empathy and professionalism

This position offers a competitive hourly rate between $41 and $43, based on experience (no candidate above $23 in PR unless significant PCA experience). Assignments run through June 9, 2027, with a 35-hour work week.
