The Salon Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for clients and staff alike. Operating within a small team and reporting directly to the owner, this position involves managing all front desk activities to ensure smooth daily operations during standard business hours, including weekend shifts. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction through excellent customer service and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently
- Greet customers warmly and confirm their needs
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing accurately
- Coordinate inventory and assist with product sales
- Manage incoming phone calls and client inquiries
- Maintain accurate client records and appointment details
- Resolve conflicts and address client concerns professionally
- Communicate effectively with the salon team to support daily operations
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proficiency with appointment scheduling software
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills
- Cash handling experience
