Social Media, & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist

Lola Products is a fast-growing, family-owned company based in Hackensack, New Jersey. We are looking for an energetic, well-rounded Social Media & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist to help grow our ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA , content, creator, affiliate, TikTok Shop, Amazon, LIVE SELLING and help the digital team with misc e-commerce efforts. This is a full-time, in-office position in Hackensack, NJ. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone with minimum 5 years direct experience in social media and affiliate/creator ecommerce marketing, who understands Social Media in and out, Content, UGC-style Video, Influencer and Affiliate Marketing, TikTok Shop, and if you don't have experience with Amazon and general e-marketplace selling and the broader e-commerce ecosystem - you are willing to learn.

Key Role:

For Social, we are going to develop a BTS (aka "Behind the Scenes") social media program where you will be the lead on and off "camera" (the camera is an iPhone...). The entire staff will play a part on camera as and when needed. The purpose of this "business reality" social media program is to build deep and trust-building relationships with our customers and potential customers by showing our day-to-day lives at work, etc. The "show" will be a combination of the social/personal side of day-to-day life of our staff at work, and we of course will also peel back the curtain on our business and show some of our team meetings, work discussions etc - the good and the not so good. We are looking to show our customers and potential customers that there are real humans at LOLA who care very much about what they do each day, want to learn from mistakes we may make and show that we also like to have a little fun. You can look at it like its "TMZ" meets "The Office" meets "Barstool" etc.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, self-motivated, and very comfortable on camera moving between ideas, coordination, and hands-on execution. Depending on the project, this person may create ideas for others to execute, help execute ideas from the team or outside agencies, or develop and execute their own ideas from start to finish.

This role is focused on organic social media, content (for products and marketing), creators, affiliates, marketplace growth, AI-assisted marketing, LIVE SELLING, and e-commerce support. Paid Search such as Google/Bing Ads, Display, Amazon paid ads, and SEM experience are not required but a bonus .

Key Responsibilities:

• Fully manage & be our lead personality on our BTS (aka "Behind the Scenes") social media program
• Manage and support social media posting, engagement, trends, and content planning
• Create, coordinate, and support UGC-style content for social media, e-commerce, and marketplace channels
• Support TikTok Shop and META growth, including affiliate and creator recruitment
• Conduct Influencer and Affiliate outreach, communication, and relationship management
• Use AI tools to improve marketing workflows, content development, research, optimization, reporting, and campaign ideas
• Help develop creative marketing concepts and bring them to life through hands-on execution, internal collaboration, or outside agency coordination
• Organize content, assets, files, calendars, and basic reports

Bonus Responsibilities: (if not very experienced on these below - no worries, you'll learn on the job)

• Support Amazon etc marketplace activity and understand the Amazon etc seller ecosystem ("etc" = other 3rd party marketplaces)
• Support Email Marketing using Mailchimp or similar platforms
• Assist with Shopify & BigCommerce website updates, including basic product and content changes
• Apply basic SEO, AI search optimization, and content optimization best practices

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE MINIMUM - especially w/ Social Media
• Strong understanding of TikTok, META, YouTube, and social media trends
• A person who is very comfortable speaking on "camera" for our social media
• Experience with TikTok Shop, creator programs, affiliate marketing, or influencer outreach
• Knowledge of UGC content and short-form video
• Comfortable using AI throughout marketing for content, research, planning, optimization, and productivity
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and general office software
• A person who is Organized, is hands-on and collaborative, and able to work independently
• Shooting video with an iPhone
• Basic video editing
• Canva, CapCut, Cuttable, Adobe tools, or similar content apps

Bonus Knowledge:

• Familiarity and Understanding of Amazon, Walmart.com, etc as seller platforms
• Knowledge with Shopify, BigCommerce, Mailchimp, SEO, and AI marketing tools
• Experience with and/or the ability to quickly learn and utilize ecommerce marketplace sync software
