This isn't a traditional tax role. This is a build-it-from-scratch opportunity for a CPA who leads with strategy, thinks like an entrepreneur, and wants to shape the future of a firm's entire tax division. Why this role? Join a four-person leadership team and have a real seat at the table Build the tax department from the ground up—your vision, your infrastructure Collaborate directly with the firm's founder and financial advisors Focus on high-level tax strategy and planning, not just return preparation Hybrid flexibility outside of tax season + relocation assistance available What you bring: Active CPA license (required) 10+ years of tax experience with a strong tax planning focus Background in or alongside a financial advisory or wealth management firm Proven leadership and an entrepreneurial, systems-oriented mindset Comfort with technology and a drive to modernize how a tax department runs What we offer: $130,000 – $150,000 base salary, depending on experience Performance-based bonus tied to department KPIs and profitability Hybrid schedule outside of tax season Relocation package for the right out-of-state candidate Long-term leadership growth within a high-growth, purpose-driven firm Sound like you?
