Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain an understanding of clients' mental health needs and to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific situations.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy—to deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated care approach for clients, promoting their overall well-being.

• Provide timely crisis intervention strategies and support for clients who may experience acute distress or require emergency assistance, ensuring their safety and immediate mental health needs are met.

• Engage actively in community outreach programs to enhance mental health awareness and education, working to eliminate stigma and promote understanding within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with clients in a hospice setting, where mental health challenges can often intensify due to situational factors. You will have the opportunity to support individuals dealing with grief, terminal illnesses, and transitions associated with end-of-life care. This vital work requires a compassionate approach and the ability to connect with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
