Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies based on comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients.
\n
• Conduct therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and coordinated client care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on servicing clients from underserved backgrounds in the Chattanooga area. Many of our clients face significant challenges, including but not limited to socio-economic barriers, trauma, and mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Your role as an LPC will directly impact their access to quality mental health care and their journey towards improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, providing evidence-based therapeutic services.
\n
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines pertinent to clinical practice.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a varied client base.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
\n
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain client records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly valued.

• Previous experience in community mental health settings or working with diverse populations is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
\n
