Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, ensuring a versatile and responsive treatment strategy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as ethical standards.

• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve client outcomes, participating in regular case discussions and interdisciplinary meetings.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and staying informed on the latest research and trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Your commitment to understanding their backgrounds and the socio-economic factors that influence their mental health will enable you to provide culturally sensitive and effective therapy. This position emphasizes accessibility; we cater to clients across Waterbury, Connecticut, and beyond, ensuring services reach those who need them most.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in community health or similar settings.

• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical standards in practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 per year, which is complemented by a competitive bonus structure and a potential sign-on bonus.
