We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a collaborative accounting team in West Palm Beach. As the manufacturing operations expands, the department needs dedicated, hands-on help to keep daily AP processing running smoothly and accurately.

This is a Temp-to-Hire position designed to provide immediate administrative and invoice processing support to the accounting department. • Tech Skills: Comfortable navigating standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning company software.

Responsibilities

As the  Accounts Payable Clerk , you will handle essential day-to-day AP tasks and digital record management for the department:

• Invoice Retrieval & Processing: Download incoming vendor invoices from email channels and prepare them for processing.

• PO & Receipt Matching: Perform 3-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents in our accounting system (full training provided).

• Check Run Preparation: Assemble, verify, and attach necessary backup documentation (POs, receipts, packing slips) prior to weekly check runs.

• Digital Archiving: Scan check copies and payment records into our electronic filing system to maintain accurate, audit-ready digital files.

• Payment Distribution: Prepare outgoing payment envelopes following completed check runs.

• Department Support: Assist the Controller and senior team members with general accounting administration and upcoming ERP system transitions.
