Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Description A well-established manufacturing company in the Buffalo area is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and making an impact on day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule Process and apply customer payments Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts Reconcile customer accounts and research billing discrepancies Communicate with customers regarding invoices and payment status Partner with internal departments to resolve account issues Prepare aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications 2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience Strong understanding of billing, collections, and account reconciliation Experience using accounting or ERP software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Why is This a Great Opportunity: $25.00$30.00 per hour, based on experience Full-time, permanent position Comprehensive benefits package Stable company with long-term career opportunities If you're looking for an opportunity to contribute to a successful manufacturing organization while growing your accounting career, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
