In August 2024 Steer acquired AutoOps - the leader in modern, intelligent, and fully integrated scheduling software for auto repair shops. AutoOps allows customers to smoothly schedule through a shop\'s website and Google Business Profile. About The Role We’re building a new team in a rapidly growing auto tech vertical—and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative to help us make it happen. In this role, you’ll uncover new business opportunities, book engaging product demos, and guide customers through a fast, consultative sales process. Location: Hybrid in Waltham, MA (3 days onsite per week; 5 days a week for first 90 days to train) Compensation: $90k OTE ($60k base + commission) You Are Dependable, consistent, and deadline-driven. Become an expert in our SaaS product and target market. Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts in our CRM. Use a consultative approach to tailor solutions to prospect needs. You Have Must Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Ability to work onsite in Waltham, MA, 3 days/week. Nice To Have SaaS sales experience. Automotive industry knowledge. CRM expertise for pipeline management. Experience with a fast sales cycle (1-2 call close).
