Work Environment

This full-time Physical Therapist position is based in Ashburn, Virginia, and entails an onsite work environment directly within clients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring functionality in accordance with each client's individualized plan of care.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure proper implementation of therapy protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through various diagnostic tests, developing tailored treatment plans to meet their specific needs.
• Assess the home environment to facilitate rehabilitation, providing recommendations that enhance client independence.
• Provide therapy services, including administering therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, based on physician prescriptions.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians to recommend modifications when necessary.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to plan and evaluate holistic treatment strategies for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families about care strategies, equipment use, and overall physical therapy programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves serving clients across diverse backgrounds who require home-based rehabilitation services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current physical therapy license in good standing in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
