Morrison Industries is hiring an Office Operations Coordinator for one of our Grand Rapids locations. Full Time, 1st-Shift | Monday Friday | $19-23/hr * Compensation is negotiable depending on experience Morrison Industries has a strict drug-free policy and any position with the company would require a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana, as well as a physical exam and a background check.

About the Role: The Office Operations Coordinator plays a key role in keeping daily operations organized and efficient. This position supports customers, vendors, and internal teams by coordinating service communication, managing open work orders and records, assisting with parts and rental processes, and helping to ensure service needs are handled accurately and on time.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor, review, and approve work orders
• Coordinate customers and the service department
• Respond to phone calls and email correspondence
• Proactive communication with customers
• Assist with parts ordering, receiving, and inventory management
• Assist with rental inquiries, quotations, and set-ups & deliveries
• Communicate with our accounting department about outstanding customer invoices

Qualifications:

• Active listener and communicator
• Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office 365 skills)
• Strong organization abilities and appropriate sense of urgency
• Capable of making decisions
• Strong mechanical knowledge is a plus
• Interested in advancement within the company
• 2 or 4 year college degree is preferred with some experience in operations or management
