Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, individualized assessments that inform tailored treatment plans for clients based on their specific psychological needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate intensive one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy techniques.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, ensuring they receive the help they need during critical moments.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse multi-disciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to devise comprehensive care strategies for individuals and families.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely fashion, adhering to established regulatory standards.
\n
• Engage actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions to enhance service delivery and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Alcentra Counseling LTD, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with a wide range of issues such as relationship conflicts, trauma, anxiety, depression, and various life transitions. Our clients often seek guidance and support as they navigate significant changes and strive for healthier emotional states and relationships.

Qualifications\n

• An active and valid LMFT license in the state of Tennessee, maintained in good standing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or mental health setting, demonstrating a sound understanding of therapeutic methodologies.

• Proficiency in adopting evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and collaborative skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a significant advantage.
